The Rays of Sunshine

Kat
Kat was born in Tucson, Arizona, and moved to Mercer, Pennsylvania at age 13. She taught 8th-grade English, worked in marketing, and served as the communication director for a Tucson-based nonprofit. Now she's weaving her passions for education, community, and the natural world.
In love with tomatoes, tarot, thrifting, lifting, and a good book, Kat finds joy in the funkiness of life and encourages you to do the same.

Luon
Luon was born in Minnesota near the Canadian border. Eventually, she made Tucson her home base, became a mom (hi, Kat), created her art career, and connected with Rick. (Before art, she was a waitress at a Greek restaurant where Rick often took his lunch break. Are you blushing too?)
Luon's vision was to move the family to the farm and build Art Farm Central, their home of almost 20 years.

Rick
Rick grew up in Mercer as a dairy farmer, basketball player, and self-proclaimed excellent drag racer. He is a father to three girls, grandfather, and great-grandfather. Quite the renaissance man, Rick is a former chemistry teacher, long-haul truck driver, mechanic, and manager of a large machinery department.
Above all, Rick is a kind and curious soul. He reads the dictionary for fun, loves a solid laugh, and can't resist a sweet treat.

Millie
Amelia, Millie, or Smellie Pie is a Yorkie rescued from a puppy mill. She gets the regular bath but hates a traditional Yorkie haircut. She's blind in one eye, and the bangs help keep her calm. From bathing in a sandwich-sized tupperware to getting a groundhog or two, Millie is a farm dog through and through.
Millie loves chasing barn cats, rolling in horse poo, lapping up cereal milk, and stealing socks.
